Lifestyle Medicine is the use of healthy diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, and positive social connection to treat, reverse, and manage disease – doctors Raj and Nisha both decided to pursue this certification after incorporating these principles into their own lives and medical practices the last 10 years. They strongly believe and follow the philosophy that these 5 pillars are foundational for long term health and wellness.

Dr. Raj and Nisha Kalra’s vision is to provide exceptional care for the elderly in a safe, loving, and beautiful home while creating a supportive and fulfilling environment to enable residents to flourish by making new friends and engaging in meaningful activity – a place they would consider for their own mom and dad.
Dr. Raj and Nisha Kalra’s expertise, training, experience, and drive to improve senior care for their families, loved ones, and communities creates a significant advantage for them to elevate senior assisted living and wellness for their residents.
Dr. Raj Kalra plans to provide a concierge rehabilitation, pain management, and lifestyle medicine service to seniors and their families in their respective homes. Dr. Nisha Kalra plans to develop a concierge Lifestyle Dentistry service – a dental clinic that will serve seniors at their homes with hygiene and general dentistry care which is an integral part of senior wellness. These ancillary services will further enhance the senior’s quality of life, happiness, and longevity.

About Us
Raj Kalra, MD, Founder/Managing Member
Raj Kalra MD is a board certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. For the last 13 years he has been the chief of pain medicine for the largest medical group in the United States. During this time he received multiple awards for his work in pain management and rehabilitation and he is now considered one of the pioneers in his field.

Being a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician, Dr. Raj Kalra has experienced first hand the challenges seniors and their families face as they age and require assistance and care.
He is excited about assisted living and memory care as he is the youngest son of aging parents who may need care with few options to consider. He wants to provide the home, care, and experience where his parents, loved ones, and community can thrive.
Dr. Raj Kalra began this journey in March 2022, since then he completed the Residential Assisted Living Academy training and California RCFE Administrator training and exam. As a RALSTM (Residential Assisted Living Specialist), Raj has earned the highest level of professional certification in the industry.
Nisha Kalra, DDS, Founder/Managing Member
Nisha Kalra DDS is a general dentist who owns and operates her practice in Berkeley, California focusing on Lifestyle Medicine and Dentistry – Lifestyle Dentistry Berkeley.
She is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine and belongs to numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Berkeley Dental Society.

Dr. Nisha Kalra successfully manages a private dental practice with approximately 8 employees. She is excited to bring her healthcare and business experience to seniors in assisted living and memory care.
She is enthusiastic about assisted living and memory care because her grandfather is currently in need of care with limited options. Furthermore, her parents are part of the Baby Boomer generation that will need care in the next 20 years.
As a RALSTM (Residential Assisted Living Specialist), Nisha has earned the highest level of professional certification in the industry.
Dr. Raj and Nisha Kalra got married in Glen Ellen in 2019 and they now have two young daughters, Indie and Liya. They enjoy spending time with their family, exercising, traveling, and music. They are excited to give back to the community that welcomed their union just a few years ago.
